Frequently Asked Questions

Do I bring my kids?

Kids are welcome at all of our workouts! It's usually easiest for mama if they stay in a stroller, but you can also wear them in a baby carrier, or let them workout standing next to you! Don’t worry, we will keep them occupied with lots of songs, games, and interaction during your 45 minute workout.

*Mamas are responsible for their own children at all times.

What do I need?

For Mama: Water and a Yoga Mat (If you don’t have one, we’re happy to share).

For the Kids: Most bring snacks and some kind of hand-held toy or book.

And please dress everyone for the weather! Layers, blankets, sunscreen, hats, etc.

What about the weather?

We are tough mamas and will be outdoors as much as possible. Also, many of our locations have covered pavilions where we can stay dry. But if there is severe inclement weather, call, text, or check our  Facebook Page!  We will post updates if we need to cancel a class. Also, there is 1 rain date built into each 6 week session. If  for some reason 1 isn't enough, you'll receive a refund for the canceled classes.

What if my child gets fussy?

No worries! Trust me, we’ve all been there. If you want to step aside to feed, change, or soothe your child, go right ahead. If you need to let them hop out and stretch their legs, that's totally fine. If you can't make it work, and have to leave right after we’ve begun, we’ll refund your class - no problem. We got you, mama.

Make-up Policy?

If you or your kiddo are sick or can't attend class, you're welcome to come to any other Workout Mamas class held at any location. If possible, try to let us know (email, text, Facebook, etc.) which class you want to attend for your makeup session so we can ensure we have enough equipment.

I'm pregnant/Just delivered?

If you’re pregnant or just had a baby, please join us! Exercising while pregnant leads to so many great benefits for mama and baby. All Workout Mamas classes can be modified for our mamas who are expecting or have recently delivered.  Pregnant Mamas or Mamas 8-12 weeks postpartum need a doctor's note to ensure you're cleared to workout. Mamas under 8 weeks postpartum cannot workout with Workout Mamas.
