Our classes are about 45 minutes in duration, and our instructors utilize HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) techniques, which combine short bursts of vigorous exercise and quick active recovery breaks.* Our workouts can be modified for mamas of all fitness levels. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced in your fitness game, we've got you covered!
*Proper social distancing will be practiced.
We utilize outdoor locations in Carroll and Baltimore counties. Due to COVID-19, we will not be encouraging playground time after our workouts. We will do our best to keep your children engaged with songs and stories during the class. Please check out our current schedule to find the class nearest you!
Children are welcome at most of our workouts. Due to COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions for our summer classes. Children must remain buckled in a stroller or secured in baby carrier for the duration of the workout. We also will be offering several Mama Only workouts. We ask that no children be present at those workouts. Class schedules may be modified based on the state's recommendations.
For Mama: Water and a Yoga Mat
For the Kids: Most bring snacks and some kind of hand-held toy or book.
Please dress everyone for the weather! Layers, blankets, sunscreen, hats, etc.
We are tough mamas and will be outdoors as much as possible. Also, many of our locations have covered pavilions where we can stay dry. But if there is severe inclement weather, call, text, or check our Facebook Page! We will post updates if we need to cancel a class.
If you or your kiddo are sick or can't attend class, you're welcome to come to any other Workout Mamas class held at any location. If possible, try to let us know (email, text, Facebook, etc.) which class you want to attend for your makeup session so our instructors can be prepared.
