We think so. In fact, we're creating a space SPECIFICALLY for exploring this idea - that we can find slivers of comfort even when our lives and the world around us feel chaotic - over the course of 6 weeks.
Together, we'll adventure through 3 different bi-weekly themes, all aimed at increasing our ability to weather uncertainty, stress, and unknowing while being bathed in connection, movement, and self-love.
Workout Mamas is a Maryland-based, woman-owned business focused on perinatal health and fitness. We offer mommy-and-me and moms-only fitness classes in Baltimore and Carroll Counties. We are a community of women focused on building relationships, supporting each other in all stages of motherhood, and providing fun and safe spaces for our children to connect and play.
Workout Mamas is so much more than just an exercise group. We are a community of strong women who support and encourage each other through sharing stories, questions, and advice. Once you've attended a class you'll be invited to join our private Club Mama Facebook Group. Throughout the year we will schedule play dates, moms' nights out, charity events, and more!
If you’re pregnant, please join us! Exercising while pregnant leads to so many great benefits for mama and baby. Instructors have been trained in Prenatal and Postpartum exercise. All Workout Mamas classes can be modified for our mamas who are expecting or have recently delivered. Mamas who are 8+ weeks postpartum are welcome to join us. All we need is a doctor’s note to ensure you are cleared to workout.
Workout Mamas supports the Body Positive Movement. We respect and celebrate all bodies, regardless of size, and we promote self-love and self-acceptance. We believe that weight is just one component of health, and while some clients' goals may include weight loss, we will focus on many other aspects of wellness in our classes. We encourage participants of all ages to join us, and we are trans and queer inclusive.
