We offer Mommy and Me style interactive HIIT Workout classes for mamas at all fitness levels and all stages of Motherhood. Our instructors are certified in Prenatal and Postpartum Fitness to ensure we give all of our mamas the workout they deserve. Kids of all ages are welcome. Come alone, buckle the kiddos into your stroller, or let your older kids jog alongside and join in the workout.
We utilize outdoor locations in Carroll, and Baltimore County including Sykesville, Westminster, Hampstead, Mt. Airy, Owings Mills, Reisterstown, Catonsville, Pikesville, Perry Hall/White Marsh, and Ellicott City. After each workout class we offer Planned Playtime where our kiddos have story time, do crafts, play games, or play on the playground. Mamas get a chance to meet other moms and socialize while our kiddos play.
Workout Mamas is so much more than just an exercise group. We are a club of women who support and encourage each other through sharing stories, questions, and advice. Once you've attended a class you'll be invited to join Club Mama. Club Mama meets a few times a month for social events like Family days, Mommy Date Nights, Volunteering, Book Clubs and more.
Electronic Coaching members will be paired with an instructor coach. Your coach will contact you a minimum of 3 times each week via text message or email (your choice) to check in. Messages will help keep you accountable, motivated, and interested. Coaches will also work with members to set S.M.A.R.T. goals, share nutrition tips, take before and after photos, and discuss any obstacles in the way of your success. E-Coaching is best for mamas who need a little extra help to reach their wellness goals.
Let's HIIT the Park! The HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) technique combines short bursts of vigorous exercise and quick active recovery breaks. This type of workout elevates your heart rate, burns fat, increases your metabolism, and strengthens bones and muscles. HIIT workouts burn more fat than regular aerobic steady-state workouts (like long runs or bike rides) because your body continues to burn fat for up to 24 hours after the workout is over.
If you’re pregnant, please join us! According to the American College of OBGYNs, pregnant women should get 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise each week! Exercising while pregnant leads to so many great benefits for mama and baby. All Workout Mamas classes can be modified for our mamas who are expecting or have recently delivered. Instructors have been trained in Prenatal and Postpartum exercise. All we need is a doctor’s note to ensure you are cleared to workout.
